The Overgeared anime began on Crunchyroll on 2 October 2026. Where the story comes from and the official ways to read it, in your language too.
The Overgeared anime premiered on Crunchyroll on 2 October 2026, with new episodes on Sundays. The story did not start as an anime. It is a Korean web novel with a webtoon adaptation, and many viewers now look for the original to read ahead. This page lists the official ways to read it and how to follow it in your language.
Where the story comes from

Which chapter does the anime end on?
This has not been announced, and we will not guess. Adaptations often skip or reorder scenes, so the safest method is to watch an episode, then find the matching scene in the official webtoon or novel and read on from there. When the season ends, the official listing or the series' own channels are the best place to see where it stopped.
Where to read it officially
- The English webtoon was published on Tapas at the time of writing. Tapas is closing on 31 March 2027, so read the notice and follow the creators for what comes next.
- Printed volumes from Ize Press, in bookshops and from the publisher.
- Any other official edition in your country. Look for the publisher's own listing and avoid sites that host chapters without permission.
Reading it in your language
If the official edition you can read is in English and you read Turkish, Spanish, Indonesian or another language, RuneManga can translate the pages you are reading. Use the browser extension on a site you switched on, or add pages to the WebApp. It only handles speech bubbles, leaves sound effects alone, and a machine translation can contain mistakes. Use it on pages you have the right to read.
