RuneManga translates the text on manga, manhwa and manhua pages. You send a page, from the website or with the browser extension on a site you read; our software finds the speech bubbles and captions, reads the text, sends that text to a translation engine, erases the original lettering and writes the translation back into the page. Colorizing pages is planned and not available yet.

RuneManga is a tool. We do not host, publish, sell or distribute manga, and we do not provide the pages you translate. The service is in beta: it can be slow, wrong or unavailable, and features and limits can change.

• You are responsible for making sure you have the right to process every page you send: your own work, work you are licensed to translate, or material you are allowed to read and process for your own personal use. That includes respecting the work's license, the publisher's terms and the laws that apply to you.
• You are responsible for the translations you produce and for anything you do with them, including sharing them.
• Your pages and the results stay yours. We claim no ownership of them. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store and process them only for as long as needed to produce your result and run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• We do not use your pages to train models.

The WebApp needs a free account. You sign in with Google, with Discord, or with a one-time sign-in link we email you (it works once, for 15 minutes); there is no password. Signing in with Google or Discord lets us read that account's id, email address, name and profile picture, as described in the Privacy Policy. Whoever controls that Google or Discord account or that inbox controls your RuneManga account, so keep them secure. An account is for one person; do not share it or sell access to it.

You must be at least 13 and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. Paid plans need you to be 18 or have that permission. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page.

RuneManga counts use in credits: one credit is one translated page, in the WebApp or the browser extension. The Free plan costs nothing and gives every account 30 credits once, when the account is created, and these credits never expire. Every account, on every plan, can also claim free daily credits on the website once per day (a day starts at 00:00 UTC); they last 24 hours from the claim, are used before any other credits, and what is left of them ends then. We may change or pause the daily credits. Paid plans (Supporter, Pro and Ultimate) are monthly subscriptions that give credits each billing period, and credit packs are one-time purchases. The current numbers and prices are on the Pricing page.

Payments are processed by Whop (whop.com): you pay on Whop's hosted checkout page, under Whop's own terms, and Whop sends the receipt. Applicable sales taxes or VAT may be added at checkout depending on your location. We never see your card or payment details. A subscription renews every month until you cancel it; its plan starts when Whop confirms the payment. Plan credits are granted at the start of each period and expire at its end: unused plan credits do not carry over. Credits from a pack never expire and are used only after your daily and plan credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be moved to another account. Prices are shown in USD.

Nothing charges you until you complete a checkout on Whop's page. You can cancel your subscription at any time under Manage subscription on the Account page, which opens Whop's billing page for your subscription. To switch plans, subscribe to the new one: it starts right away and your old plan stops renewing. A cancelled subscription keeps its plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your account is back on Free; cancelling stops future payments.

How refunds work is set out in our Refund policy, which is part of these terms. In short: if something went wrong, for example you were charged twice or your plan or credits never reached your RuneManga account, write to [email protected] and the payment is refunded through Whop.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; it is usually faster for both of us. Nothing in this section limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

To translate, the text our server finds on your pages (not the images) is translated by RuneLingua, our own translation engine, on GPU machines we operate. For a few languages, when RuneLingua is unavailable, or when you use your own AI key in the extension, that text goes from your own browser to a translation provider instead: Google's translation service, or the provider of your key. Signing in can go through Google or Discord, sign-in emails go through our email provider, and payments go through Whop. Those services have their own terms. We may change providers; the Privacy Policy lists the ones in use.

You agree not to:

• Send content that is illegal where you live or where we operate, including any sexual content involving minors, or content you have no right to process.
• Use RuneManga to copy, publish or distribute works you do not have the right to distribute.
• Scrape, crawl or call the website or the translation API with automated tools, or send pages at scale, without our written agreement. The browser extension used as intended is fine.
• Get around rate limits, plan limits or bans, for example with several accounts or installs, or share or sell access to your account.
• Interfere with the service or its security: overloading it, probing it for weaknesses, or trying to reach data that is not yours.
• Resell the service, or repackage or sublicense the website or the extension as your own.

We apply rate limits to keep the service available for everyone. If you break these terms we may limit your use, ban your account or your extension install, and close your reports, with notice when that is reasonable.

RuneManga does not publish the pages people translate: uploads and results are deleted automatically about an hour after the job finishes. If you believe RuneManga, its website or something processed through it infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:

• your name and contact details;
• the work you own and the material you believe infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature.

We review every complete notice, remove or disable access to material we control where it is justified, and may close the accounts and installs of people who repeatedly infringe.

When you report a problem, on the Support page or from the browser extension, we use the report to answer you and to fix the problem. Do not put passwords or other people's personal data in a report or an attached image. We may close reports that abuse the form and limit how many reports one address or install can send. The Privacy Policy says what a report stores and for how long.

A gift code unlocks a plan for a set number of months on the account that redeems it. Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or moved to another account once redeemed, and may stop working after their expiry date. We may cancel codes that were obtained or shared by misuse.

Once published, the browser extension is distributed through the browsers' add-on stores, which deliver its updates. New versions may add, change or remove features. The website and the extension are licensed to you for your own use under these terms; all rights not expressly granted stay with us.

Translations and cleaned pages are produced by software and can be wrong, incomplete or misleading: text can be missed, misread or mistranslated. Check anything important yourself and do not rely on the output where accuracy matters.

RuneManga is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, RuneManga and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the website, the extension or the service. Direct liability is capped at the total amount you paid for RuneManga plans and credits in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 0 if you never paid.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or rights you have under the mandatory consumer law where you live.

You can stop using RuneManga at any time and delete your account on the Account page. We can suspend or terminate accounts and installs that violate these terms, or limit access to protect the service, with notice when reasonable. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of a payment, except where the refunds section or the law says otherwise.

We may update these terms as the service grows. When a change affects your rights or obligations, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a material change is acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes that can't be resolved by writing to [email protected] should be brought before the competent courts of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
